1988 Ford Super Duty Wrecker. Short wheel base dually. 351 Gas engine with only 26k original miles. 5 speed manual transmission with only 500 miles on new clutch. Champion wrecker body with dual 8000lb ramsey winches. Retractable boom and wheel lift. Ice cold AC with a new ac compressor. 1 owner truck only used for moving vehicles at law enforcement tow yard. This truck needs the hydraulic calve body rebuilt or replaced. Some hyraulic lines will need replacing. Some of the hyraulic ram seals leak and will need replacing buut all of the rams are functional when fluid is added to the system. With a small amount of tlc this wrecker can be at 100 percent and back on the road making money. Perfect for a tow yard, transport company, salvage yard, independent owner operator, or a service shop. The dual winches would be great for pulling heavy vehicle components suchs as motors, transmissions, or drivelines. This truck will need to be towed out and gone through by a mechanic before putting on the road. Vehicle sat for a year in tow yard. Vehicle does run and drive. But once agian please note that it must be towed off of the property and thoroughly inspected before putting on the road and the entire hydraulic system needs to be looked at before performing any towing or lifting.
